At one point I met Nick Ringstad at Twin Cities Harley and found his no pressure attitude refreshing. He was always willing to talk, even after the sale was eventually made. Nick made the purchasing process pleasant which is not easy to accomplish. Tomorrow my new bike is being dropped off at Twin Cities Harley-Davidson for its 1000 mile check-up. I am expecting the same type of attention I received during the sale. If this holds true I fully expect to give the service department a five star rating. "

" We have been pleased every time we have had an experience with Lakeville HD. My husband purchased a Road King with Andy’s assistance in 2006. When I finally decided on the bike I would like to purchase, a call was placed to Andy. He located the bike, beat the price of two other dealerships and personally delivered it (and snow) the next morning. Andy Bemis and Craig Luedke made the purchase of my 2008 Heritage Softail a pleasant experience. They were courteous, professional and patient answering my questions. I hate to admit that it is rare when I write to extend appreciation for exceptional customer service, maybe because it’s rare to experience it. "I recently purchased my new 2008 Low rider (105th Anniversary edition) from your store mainly because of the salesperson. Andy Bemis, we first came to your store (TCHD) and ended up speaking to Andy, he was able to answer all our questions honestly and intelligently, and best of all without pressuring me into making a purchase at the drop of a hat, upon leaving I told Andy I was going to look around some more, Andy told me to come back anytime and he would beat any price if given the chance, well needless to say I ended up speaking to another salesman at a different HD dealer that was closer to my home, and believe me this guy was your typical salesperson, talking a million miles an hour and trying to sell me everything under the sun, but he did have a better price for me, on the other hand the guy was a real piece of work, so we left and went back and spoke to Andy at TCHD because we just felt more comfortable speaking with him, he was able to match and slightly beat the other dealers price so I bought the bike, not just based on the price but because it was just such a better buying experience dealing with Andy, a few days later Andy delivered it to our house, waited for me to get home from work then stood out in my garage and went over the entire bike with me on one of the coldest days of the winter. " when I first came into Twin city Harley I was just looking. After about 10 mins. of looking Jon came over and asked if I needed any help. I told him I was just looking, He said o.k. let me know if there anything I can do. After about 10-15 more mins. I asked a few questions and got his card. I felt no pressure, and was treated like a person. About a week later I went looking at another store. I was told everything I wanted to hear, not the way it was. I called Jon back He told me the right info. When I went to buy my bike I dealt with Joe. He was awsome also. Twin City Harley-Davidson is the only place I want to deal with in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone I know"

"I stopped by TCHD with the intent of looking and pricing a new Harley; past experiences and comments from acquaintences were not in TCHD's favor on my purchase walking through the door. However I found everyone to be friendly and very helpful. Nick in sales changed my mind on past concerns; and I couldn't have worked with a nicer guy. His past experiences really assisted me making a decision I will never regret. During that visit, my family browsed the clothing/acc. area while I spoke with Nick and they mentioned how helpful everyone was. "Please see my email below to Erik Buell: Good Morning Erik! We have corresponded before about my son's 2006 Firebolt and the problems we have with obtaining service. As I mentioned before, the closest Buell dealership is 2.5 hours away from us. On Saturday I had to pick up two of my kids in Minneapolis so we loaded the Buell into my truck and took it with us. When the bike only had 50 miles on it, something broke in the starter switch (yellow tab) and it took a week to get the bike back. When it was returned the switch still didn't operate properly but we were not about to trek over to that dealership or give up the bike for another week! So, while in Minneapolis we stopped at the Twin Cities Harley-Davidson/Buell dealership and explained the problem. I want to pass on Kudos to a Buell technician, Chris. They call him Chris "Buell" there. LOL Anyway, he came out to my truck so it didn't have to be unloaded, dismantled the starter housing and discovered what the problem was! It wasn't just a spring that was broken (as told by the other dealership) but also one side of the yellow starter button tab was 'snapped' off. This is what was causing it to stick and not pop back out. Chris spent the time out in the hot afternoon sun, in the back of the truck with limited space, and fixed the problem correctly! I thanked him several times and also stopped inside the dealership to tell a Manager (Joe) how impressed I was by Chris' knowledge and helpfulness and to let him how thankful I was that they were able to help us on a "drop in" basis...especially after turning out 40+ bikes that day in the service department! Being an employee at a power sport dealership myself...I know it's the service department who really maintains any one's customer base and they are often the 'little guys' who aren't recognized. So I wanted to write to relate my experience and to bring Chris' exemplary service to your attention. Any recognition you or your company might extend to him for his service would be appreciated! Melody Erik's reply: Thank you very much for sharing this story. I will make sure it gets to the Service group here as an example of how a caring service person makes such a difference. I trust that one day we will have a dealer closer to you; until then I hope your son gets lots of trouble free miles on his XB12R. Erik "

"I want to commend one of your parts counter people, Bruce Felber. He tried to help me save an old Lectron carb for my old FXS. Parts were unavailable, so I decided to purchse a new S&S carb. He helped me select the proper model and set me up with the parts I needed to convert to a two cable system. He even gave me his home telephone number to call if I needed help with the installation.
